Todd Hornback
Chief Executive Officer
Equal parts storyteller, community evangelist, and road warrior, Todd is dedicated to advancing Cohere’s mission. More than leading our company and nurturing and growing our business, it’s believing in the power of what we can achieve together in community that drives him. For Todd, it’s that simple and that rewarding. Lucky for Todd, his love of music, bikes, stylish hats, and happy hours travel well. He values humor, thoughtfulness, and kindness.
Prior to Cohere, Todd has served as Owner/President of Todd Hornback & Associates; President/CEO of Parents Anonymous of Arizona, Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits, and Scottsdale LINKS/Scottsdale Healthcare; and Associate Faculty with ASU Lodestar Center for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Innovation.

Suzanne Walden-Wells
Chief Engagement Officer
Cohere is in caring and expert hands with Suzanne leading our work in all-things engagement. A passionate and experienced leader with a Jill-of-all-trades mindset, Suzanne has a gift for creating systems and process to support our unique operations. She believes that when given the right resources and encouragement, people can achieve their highest potential. She also knows that the power of community can change lives. Suzanne values compassion, kindness and integrity – values that show up in how she leads and lives.
Suzanne has three decades of experience building and managing successful organizations and teams including: leading the Community Life Team at Eastmark; serving as Executive Director of the DC Ranch Community Council; and holding several roles at the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce including Interim President/CEO, Executive VP/COO, and VP of Business Services.

Chadwick W. Reed
PCAM, CMCA, AMS
Chief Operating Officer
Chadwick is our governance and operations guru with more than 28 years in the community association management industry. Always one to encourage us to dream big, he has an unmatched ability to find creative ways to ground and realize these dreams. He is committed to operational excellence and customer care, putting the needs of residents front and center in decision-making. He values kindness, strength, honesty, and knowledge. A devoted husband and father, Chadwick loves to travel and adventure, tackle home improvement projects, spend time with his family, and walk his beloved Daisy Mae Doodle.
It speaks volumes about Chadwick and his character that he held his first job as a paperboy for the Columbus Dispatch for 19 years. He continued delivering newspapers as he took on new opportunities – first as an apartment resident manager and later in progressive community management roles with RPM/Associa. His PCAM case study took him to Tucson solidifying his love for the desert and managing large-scale communities. In 2008, Chadwick joined DMB Associates, managing Marley Park, Verrado, and Eastmark before taking on his current role leading Cohere’s operations and advising on new community governance and operations.

Jennifer A. Barefoot
Chief Culture & Brand Officer
Jennifer is our brand and culture champion with more than 20 years of storytelling experience. An expert people reader and connector, she believes deeply in the power of community and in the magic of relationships. A self-described experience junkie and a fierce protector of those she loves, Jennifer is in constant pursuit of adventure, living well, and finding joy in the everyday. She’s an Enneagram Two, and her core values are trust, integrity, and commitment.
Jennifer’s career reflects her commitment to people and community. Dedicated to bringing clarity to brands and giving voice to all stakeholders, she has served in several marketing communications leadership roles at DMB Community Life (now Cohere), DMB Associates, Sonoran Institute, American Civil Liberties Union, and the Kaiser Family Foundation.

Tabatha Long
Vice President, People Operations | PCAM, CMCA, AMS
The unicorn of all unicorns, Tabatha masterfully balances the needs of our people and the requirements of our operations to deliver business solutions that stick. A trusted leader with over 15 years of industry experience, Tabatha has rich expertise in policy, process, and systems, plus intimate knowledge of Cohere’s special sauce. In sum, she’s the person who keeps our culture and operations connected and humming along. For Tabatha, family comes first (lucky for Andrew – yes, that Andrew running Cohere finance), and fur-kids bring her joy (lucky for Lenni), Michigan State Spartans are her team, and nothing beats a good book preferably poolside. She is an Enneagram 9 and her core values are safety, belonging, and joy.
Tabatha began her career in natural resource management working for county park departments in Michigan and Washington. From there, she stepped into non-profit work, specifically teaching English as a Second Language, GED preparation and Adult Basic Education. Later she transitioned into commercial and residential property management with DMB Associates, today with Cohere (formerly DMB Community Life).

Andrew Long
Vice President, Finance & Accounting
A seasoned financial leader, who loves numbers and people equally, Andrew’s balanced approach positions Cohere to deliver smart solutions for current and new business alike. As our budget quarterback, Andrew brings the perfect blend of technical acumen and lay explanations, streamlining this process for the benefit our team and clients. A team player who has a knack for all-things trivia, Andrew is fluent in Spanish, puts his family first (lucky for Tabatha and Lenni), and he values kindness, humor and being genuine.
Andrew has 15 years of finance and accounting experience, having held senior financial planning and analyst positions with NorthCentral University, Shamrock Farms, and Humana, Inc.

Damon Williams
Regional Vice President | GCCS, PCAM, LSM, CMCA, AMS, MCM, CILM
One of our most credentialed team members, Damon has more than three decades of experience in golf course/clubhouse management, landscape oversight, and large-scale community management. A jack-of-all-trades, Damon can dig into the technical and see the big picture and everything in between. He has a great sense of humor and an uncanny ability to read people. A dedicated family man, Damon enjoys gardening, golf, and baseball.
Prior to Cohere, Damon served as Executive Director/CEO of SaddlebrookTWO in Tucson and Sun City Hilton Head. Active in many industry organizations, he currently serves on the Community Association Institute (CAI) Large Scale Managers Committee as well as several CAI sub-committees including committees tasked with updating the M340 large-scale managers training curriculum and annually reviewing large-scale manager salaries and wages.

Christy Chesser

Christy is all pro when it comes to critical thinking and problem solving. Plus, she’s passionate about people. With more than 11 years of industry experience, Christy is our most seasoned leader in community transitions; she also excels in strategic planning, customer experience. Always up for challenges, Christy recently took up mountain biking and takes to the Arkansas trails whenever she can get-a-way. An Enneagram 2, she values togetherness and finding common ground.
Christy has served in a number of association management leadership roles including Vice President of Operations, Director of Community Management, and Human Resources Business Partner, among others.
