We don't do it alone.
At Cohere, we know strong partnerships are crucial to our shared success.
It takes a village to create communities where trust expands, happiness increases, and lives are enriched. From developers to local leaders to residents, we put great value on the diverse perspectives and experiences of the members of our communities.
Developers & Builders
Developers and builders set the foundation for thriving communities, and their impact doesn’t end there. We work alongside partner developers & builders to execute on a shared vision for success throughout the early lifecycle of every new community.
Board of Directors
Board leaders are invaluable voices in so many aspects of our work. We work hand-in-hand with board leaders to customize community strategies, budgets and plans that meet diverse needs as our communities grow.
At Cohere, we see residents as our partners in co-creating community. We put a high value on the ideas, contributions, and experiences of our residents, because we know that actively engaging residents in creating the place they call home creates communities that thrive.
Schools + Education
Learning is a lifelong endeavor. Local schools and educational institutions provide foundational value to communities and benefits beyond their direct impact to students, families, and staff.
Nonprofits across the West are changing the world for the better. Alongside our residents, we've teamed up with nonprofit organizations in our communities, and in some communities created philanthropic programs, to create meaningful opportunities to give back.
Municipal + Civic Leadership
At Cohere, we recognize the variety of contributions and deep expertise local leaders can offer our communities. Our communities are part of larger municipalities, and as such we foster partnerships with civic leaders to stay informed and active in decisions and initiatives that impact our residents today and in the future.
Faith communities of all stripes have a valued place in our communities. Our strong relationships with religious organizations provides opportunities for rich, spiritual connections among neighbors as well as unique charitable initiatives; for example, to feed children across the globe with Feed My Starving Children and closer to home with local food banks like Parker Task Force and Phoenix Rescue Mission.
An integral part of life, arts and culture contribute to placemaking, bringing immeasurable value to our communities. That’s why we partner with organizations like Mesa Center for the Arts and West Valley Arts Council to bring specific and unique programming to our residents, including public art projects to activate our parks and community gathering spaces.
The safety of our residents is always our top priority. We work in sync with local emergency services in each of our communities to deliver proactive education and programming, and support effective emergency response communications when needed.
Health + Wellness
Early on, we work with our developer partners to ensure that community amenities promote physical activity and interaction. As the community grows, we engage partners from nutritionists to naturopaths from nearby hospitals and medical facilities to bring events and programming that promote healthy living and social connection.
Sports + Recreation
Whether you’re a mountain biker, a marathoner, or a rec league all-star, there’s bound to be athletes in your community that share your passion. We partner with sports organizations, recreation leagues, and fitness providers to offer classes, clubs, recreational and competitive sports, and other fitness programming.
The business community brings expertise, leadership, and valuable partnership to so many of our community initiatives and strategic projects. Cohere works closely with local businesses in each of our communities to share best practices, collaborate on community events and programs, and promote buying local.
I’m a big believer in the community-building model that Cohere has perfected. Grounded in the full spirit of community and enriching people’s lives, this unique, collaborative approach was key in distinguishing and growing the value of communities developed by DMB Associates during my tenure there.
When executed well, a strong sense of Community is a significant competitive advantage in the master planned community business. But, when executed with thoughtful planning followed by intentional action, a sense of Community is the legacy of great development.
Rarely do you meet a collaborator who shares the dream and then turns it into a reality. The Cohere Team does just that. From the early discovery of “localness” of place to the universals of enlightened community management, the Cohere team listens, explores, questions, and creates.
Great places don’t happen by accident. Great places are the result of a thoughtful vision that is cared for and nurtured as the community matures. Based on a long history of design excellence and a deep understanding of how communities evolve, Cohere is committed to preserving and enhancing the built environment of the communities it manages with the objective that each community gets better with time.
Cohere has been a great partner in the management of our associations at McWhinney. While they are more than adept at traditional association management, the secret sauce lies in their unique ability to promote community engagement through creative events and programming.
The Cohere team are master creators and connectors of people, places and everlasting memories that transform real estate to the forever fabric of our lives.
Cohere's unique approach to community building created a vibe and energy that attracted homebuyers and was well received by residents. They cemented Eastmark amongst the top best-selling and best-living communities in the nation. Given Cohere’s success with Eastmark, we have engaged at two of our new master planned communities to provide the community building. We really appreciate and value what Cohere brings to our projects.
