We’re beyond proud and honored to share that Todd Hornback, CEO and co-founder of Cohere, has been named a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2026 Pacific Southwest Award by Ernst & Young LLP (EY US).
Regional winners will be announced at a celebration in Orange County on June 6, 2026, with national finalists recognized at EY’s Strategic Growth Forum in November.
About Entrepreneur Of The Year
The Entrepreneur Of The Year award program, now in its 41st year, celebrates bold leaders who disrupt markets, revolutionize industries, and uplift communities, honoring entrepreneurs whose innovations drive economic growth and help shape the future of business
This year’s Pacific Southwest region encompasses Southern California (San Diego and Orange County), Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Hawaii, with finalists selected by an independent panel of judges based on entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, company growth, and lasting impact.
As a group, this year’s regional finalists generated over $10 billion in combined revenue and employed more than 20,000 people in 2025, plus they averaged 62% revenue growth and experienced 28% average employee growth over the most recent three-year period — a measure of the program’s standard for selection.
A visionary leader
As Todd shared, this work has always been grounded in something simple — and powerful:
“What began as a small group of neighborhoods has grown into a portfolio of communities across the country, but the focus has remained the same: bringing people together and creating places where connection can take root. I’m grateful to our team, our partners and the residents who trust us to be part of their everyday experience.”
Redefining an industry
From a handful of neighborhoods to nearly 45,000 homes across more than 50 communities nationwide, Cohere’s growth tells a bigger story — one of challenging convention and building something different.
Under Todd’s leadership, Cohere helped reimagine what community management could be. By blending operational excellence with human connection, he helped shift an industry often defined by transactions toward one built on relationships, belonging and long-term trust.
In doing so, Cohere has proven that smart, purposeful growth doesn’t just scale a business — it can reshape an industry.
